Paige and Jack’s is a wedding that we’ve been looking forward to for ages. We love these guys and we knew for sure that their wedding was going to be incredible. They have an amazing and effortless style that we will never get tired of capturing. You might have seen them around halloween last year where we headed out to the woods for a Morticia and Gomez inspired shoot. We love spending time with Paige and Jack and their love for each other is so easy to see and even easier to capture. They really are just two people enjoying the passage of time together.

A good confetti photograph is an absolutely amazing spread in your wedding album. It doesn’t come without challenges and a great confetti moment definitely does not happen by accident. Here are our top tips and ideas to make sure you get it just right.

We LOVE celebrant ceremonies. There’s nothing better than having a ceremony that’s filled with personal details and cute stories about you both. Registrars do a great job but they don’t have the time to get to really know who you guys are and more about your story together. This ceremony at Sneaton Castle was so perfect and exactly what a celebrant ceremony should be - filled with tears, love and laughter.

Howard Court in North Yorkshire is playing host to a fairytale love story event for the ages - the elopement wedding of Prince Charming and his beautiful Princess!

We are so grateful to Jess and Jake for bringing us along for their wedding at Doxford Barns. We’ve loved the venue for ages and having the opportunity to come along to it with these two amazing humans and their equally amazing dog was just fantastic. Together we were able to create some really beautiful photographs and memories, even if the weather was sort of uncooperative.

Thief Hall was definitely a venue that was on our dream list. We had been counting down the days to Sophie and Leif’s wedding and thanks to the dreaded Covid we had to wait a bit longer than we expected too. Thief Hall is an exclusive and unique barn wedding venue based in North Yorkshire that is almost a perfect blank canvas for you to style however you fancy and Sophie and Leif were able to put their amazing personal style into all the aspects of their wedding day.

A beautiful wedding that showcases the best that the North East area has to offer. The views, the venues and the people. We had an amazing day at Rebecca & Luke’s wedding and we can’t wait to tell you about it.

A beautiful family wedding at Sneaton Castle in Whitby, North Yorkshire. We adore Sneaton Castle and it’s always an amazing place for wedding photography and it is completely unique. Not just in North Yorkshire, but probably one of the most individual venues we’ve ever seen.

Tom and Sian had their wedding booked with us for a long time but ended up having to postpone due to the dreaded Covid. We’d been looking forward to shooting them and it was amazing to finally get the chance to.

We loved meeting Julia and Dan for their pre-wedding photoshoot and we were super excited for their wedding day. They got married in a church in Ingleby Barwick and then went back to Hardwick Hall for their reception in the relatively new Floral Chapel room. We like Hardwick Hall because of the grounds mainly, the lake is right outside the door and if you give us the opportunity we’ll be right down to it!

Bowburn Hall in Durham is a beautiful wedding venue that pops up out of nowhere. We couldn’t wait to shoot this wedding. Lais and Joe had postponed multiple times due to covid and so it was definitely going to be an excellent party and a huge sigh of relief.

Middleton Lodge in North Yorkshire was our destination when we set off for our first wedding of 2022. These two beautiful people got married in the Fig House, the incredible rustic wedding venue that is sat in the grounds of Middleton Lodge. It has the stunning ceremony room, with the wooden floors and exposed beams, as well as the conservatory next door which is attached to the Walled Garden.
