Photographs are perfect frozen moments in time. They are windows to our past, allowing us to roam freely through our memories whenever we choose. Whether we’re going through some challenging times or if loved ones have moved on ~ photographs are what we all turn to.
This is the reason we care so deeply about photography and we absolutely believe that everybody deserves great photographs of themselves. Our personal quest is to prove great photos can also be a good experience and feel great to have taken.

Why us?
You want someone who understands how it feels to be uncomfortable in front of the camera and be able to calm your anxieties and self-doubts. We’ve been exactly where you are ~ we’re still there!
We’ve planned our own wedding and we have photoshoots done at least once a year so we know how it feels to be on the other side of the camera. We’ve developed our own system for helping you get out of your own head on a photoshoot and be present in the moment and enjoy it.
Forget paying extra for two photographers ~ with us you get two photographers with all of our shoots. You won’t miss anything on your wedding day. You’ll have the photos of both of you preparing on the morning, two angles on your ceremony, shots of all your guests enjoying themselves. Plus having two of us means your group photos go waaay faster than just one photographer.
We like to do things slightly differently and a big part of that is a result of the experience we had with our wedding photographer. The photos we got were great but the experience on the day was not. Because of that, our focus is on you.
Your wedding should be just that ~ YOURS! We don’t believe in making your wedding a huge, Hollywood production with briefings and lighting rigs and all that stuff. We capture the raw, real emotions and soulful moments without needing to be the centre of attention on a day that should be about you.

Our Big Why
Our wedding was beautiful ~ best day of our lives! The photos are fine, they record our day and they’re really lovely to look back on. The experience? Not great, honestly.
We look back at our photos now and we remember the photographer being really abrupt and actually ~ kinda rude! We remember that the photographer who actually turned up wasn’t the one we’d been talking to during all the planning meetings. We remember that they hadn’t found out anything about what the plan we had made was before they turned up on the day and were really stroppy when we told them we were stopping on the way from the church to the reception.
We decided that there was a better way to do things. Focusing on the couple getting married and the story of the day rather than on just technically good photos that miss some of the wild magick of the moment. Or that take you away from the party for ages at a time so that all you can remember is having photos taken instead of celebrating with your folks.
We set off on our quest to be wedding helpers who happen to have cameras with us. You can be sure that we are just two crazy, camera-wielding soulmates on this adventure with you. You’ll talk to us, plan with us and be photographed by us. We don’t think it should be any other way.

What about…?

You will love it ~ we promise. It’s an intimidating thing to think about and we understand that but it’s a great way to get some experience before your wedding day.
Imagine how much less anxious you’ll feel on the morning of the wedding knowing that we’ve already had chance to go on a little adventure together and get to know each other rather than having a stranger turn up and stick a camera in front of you!

Booking fee is £200 ~ that secures your booking and covers all the boring admin involved.
The balance is split over 6 payments in the months leading up to the date of the wedding. So, if you’re getting married next year you don’t need to worry about it right now. We split it up like that so that you don’t get all your invoices the month before the wedding, at least your photography is paid for in little chunks that are more managable.

You’re excited to see the photos after the wedding ~ of course you are!
We aim to get your photos to you no later than 8 weeks after your wedding day. That gives us a chance to hand edit them with our whimsical style and also do your film too if you’ve had one.

We don’t really put a number on it because it depends on a lot of things. Plenty though.
A typical, full day wedding gallery run to at least 600+ photos, sometimes more.

We do hour-by-hour coverage but if what you’re planning is something that really breaks the wedding mould then let’s have a chat about it and we can always come up with a custom price for you. We love travelling for weddings. It gives us an excuse to get out in our van for an adventure ~ as if we need an excuse!
The thing we normally say is we cover “within an hour of home” for free and anything further than that is 50p per mile. Realistically that means for free we cover from Newcastle to Leeds ~ ish.

Bless you, we were pretty sure hands were a lie when we had our first photoshoot.
Try not to worry, we’ve got our Magick Method that we run through on your shoots and 9 times out of 10 you won’t even have to think about what you’re doing with them. We have a few extra tricks up our sleeves to pull out if you still need some help though. Our biggest advice is to try to approach it with curiousity rather than fear!

We used to feel kind of cheeky asking but then we realised that we’re often away from home for 10+ hours and that’s a really long time to go without food.
We don’t necessarily need to be fed the same thing as your guests and we CERTAINLY don’t need to be on the table plan! Talk with your venue and let them know and they probably have a plan already in place for how to sort us out.
