VIDEOGRAPHY!
Well, sort of at least. 😂
We are doing wedding videos but we’re doing them OUR WAY!
This isn’t a stuffy, feature length wedding video that you won’t want to re-watch. Our videos are your wedding with all the boring bits taken out. No uncomfortable speeches or awkward vows, just all the fun moments and expressions of love for you to relive and share.
They say “show don’t tell” and if a picture says a thousand words, a video must be Game of Thrones or something.
Rather than bombard you with words up front, we thought we’d chuck a video right at you.

So… what is this video thing we’re doing and why is OUR WAY different?
🌙 Some people have called it “Hybrid Coverage” but basically what we’re doing is photos and video at the same time.
🌙 You get the same amazing photos that you would expect from us but you also get a beautiful, emotion-packed video. We can absolutely promise that you don’t miss out on any of our creativity, we just wrap that up into your video too.
🌙 No extra people clogging up your wedding day. Since we’re doing both the photos and the video you don’t have any other bodies hovering around you or demanding attention from you.
🌙 We have a drone so we can get some really epic, sweeping shots of you at your venue or even out and about at some fantastic beauty spot. We’re fully trained and insured up to our eyeballs too, so there’s literally nothing stopping us chucking the drone up - except the wind.
🌙 We focus on just the exciting or fun bits. The stuff you will want to relive over and over again put together into a 5-10 minute highlight video to share with whoever you choose.
🌙 A way to relive some of the most beautiful moments and fantastic reactions, emotions and feelings without needing to budget for a dedicated videographer.
🌙 A way to share the feelings and emotions of the day with guests who weren’t able to be there in person or who maybe missed some moments.
🌙 Minimal posing and almost no re-do’s. We don’t do “posing” with our photos, we usually give you something to do like walking, or bumping hips or spinning around or something. Those kinds of things work great for video too so we do both at once and save time!
🌙 We always work together, two photographers with four cameras, so you can be sure that no moments are missed.

What our Wedding Highlight video ISN’T
We’ve waxed poetic about what our wedding highlight video is and why you should definitely, for sure, without a doubt get one. We do think it’s important, though, to really emphasise what our wedding highlight videos AREN’T.
So, our Wedding Highlight videos AREN’T:
🌙 A full record of your wedding day. We might be amazing but we’re still only human and we can’t capture absolutely everything all day.
🌙 A replacement for a dedicated videographer. If you want full coverage, including vows recording, your speeches, those kinds of things, you should consider a videographer.
🌙 An epic, feature length director’s cut. We’re focusing on giving you between 5 and 10 minutes of the absolute best bits. It’s a beautiful little reminder of your day, not the full thing played back in its entirity.
🌙 A bunch of extra people following you around on your wedding day. We shoot both photo and film so that you’ve only got the two of us and not a full entourage.
Questions and Concerns
We know that there’s bound to be more than a few questions and concerns that you have about video and what it means for you, your wedding and your photography. Here’s some answers to some of the questions we’ve had already and if you have any more for us then feel free to drop us a message on Instagram or an email!

We get it, it sounds like a lot to do all at once, and it is.
But there are always two of us and between us we have at least four cameras, more if you count the GoPro and Drone. We are already in more than once place at once and our cameras switch between photos and videos in like, a second or two. We’ve been practicing and we’re really good at it.

We’ve been working on our images and style for a good few years now and we’ve done a lot of research into how to translate that into video. Rob has worked his butt off and we’re confident in saying we can edit video just as well as we can edit photos.

We promise we understand. We don’t like having our photos taken either really. We’ve put together a system that we run through with you to help you feel more comfortable, starting with easy peasy stuff and relaxing you into the shoot. The main advantage to our plan is that it works for both photo and video. Our “posing”, if you can call it that, is movement and activity based so it works for both photos and video.

Not really. We might take a minute or two longer but that’s honestly it. We work super fast anyway because there’s two of us so we are literally in two places at once. Adding a few seconds for a video clip here and there doesn’t add much time onto the whole process.

We absolutely understand. It was one of the main reasons we didn’t get a videographer for our own wedding. We don’t record your speeches and we don’t record your vows on the day. We could get you to record them yourself on a voice note or something and it would be a super cute voice-over addition to the video but that’s up to you!

We aren’t videographers and we aren’t pretending to be. However, if you want a 5-10 minute highlight video that tells the story of your wedding without any boring bits like speeches then we think you’ll love this.
