Ostara is the Spring Equinox
That’s the time when the sun shines directly on the equator ~ that means the day and night are exactly the same length as we leave winter and the days lengthen towards summer.
It’s a time of renewal and rebirth ~ associated with cleaning, tidying and preparing for the growing season and the return of the long, warm days of summer.
It’s the time for new shoots, daffodils & crocuses, bunnies & butterflies, decluttering & refreshing your living spaces.

We guide you through your photoshoot like Gandalf leading the Fellowship over Caradhras ~ except that didn’t end well… wait, we got this.

We take good care of you and guide you through your shoot with patience, care and love. We never rush you into things you’re not ready for but still capture amazing photos of you guys.
Our process ~ The Magick Method!
🌙 Keep you moving - keep you thinking about what you’re doing rather than on the two lunatics running around with cameras.
🌙 Give you prompts and ideas to work on, like walking and bumping hips or whispering your favourite vegetable to each other. We’ll basically never say “look at the camera and smiiiiiiile!”.
🌙 We focus on creating opportunities for cute candid moments rather than intricately posing you to the n-th degree.
🌙 There’s two of us so we work super fast - so whatever we do have you doing, even if you feel a bit silly, it won’t be for long!
🌙 Also, if you do feel silly, we absolutely promise you won’t look silly in the photos!
Wouldn’t it be awesome to have amazing photos of you all over your home without any of the awkwardness and cheesy posing?
We can promise you a total lack of awkwardness and an utter absence of cheese. We do photos the right way, with loads of laughs, lots of movement and all of the fun.
A shoot in more detail
An opportunity to live your best adventurer life for a few hours and have us along to capture some creative photographs for you to treasure forever. Why wouldn’t you want some totes profesh photos of you looking like absolute bosses out in the great wild world?
The first steps in any shoot with us it to check out our moodboards and find one that speaks to you. You have a bunch to choose from so hopefully something will spark joy and inspire you. If you have an idea of your own then we’d love to hear it though. We love a unique idea and we’d be super excited to help you make that dream idea a reality. It doesn’t matter what calls to you, it’s calling for a reason and you shouldn’t ignore it!
Once you’ve got some inspiration, you book in with us for a chat, either on zoom or in person, and we can work through some ideas and possibilities. We all work together to create a plan that suits you and get a location and date arranged. Being involved from the start means that you can take some control over the shoot direction and stops you feeling swept along for the ride. If you’re not comfortable with getting in the sea, getting muddy, walking a long way or climbing any hills then it’s your chance to rein us in!
On the shoot day, we don’t do awkward posing stuff with “put your little finger here and put your nose on the other side of your face and don’t move your eyes but look at the bird” or whatever other people try to get you to do. That sounds like hard work, for us and for you and you’re probably going to end up completely overwhelmed with us if we did.
Instead, we give you something to do. It’s always super simple like “hold hands and walk away from us” or “walk towards us and try to knock each other off balance by bumping your hips together”.
All we’re really trying to capture is both of you reacting to each other and being real with it. Getting real reactions and proper moments rather than faking it means that when you look back at your photos you’ll remember the fun you had and not a load of awkward, Twister-like instructions.
After our chat we’ll go away and before long a new moodboard will drop into your inbox. This particular moodboard will be YOUR moodboard though.
We’ll include all the details for the shoot, we’ll include a few more specific images that have the kind of look and feel that we chatted about for your shoot. We’ll also include some ideas of colours for you to wear so that you’re not completely in the dark about what clothes to put on. Plus, we’ll include any other specific things for your particular location. Maybe it’s a car park to use, or at least a spot we’ll meet you at before we head off to the actual location.
We do all of this so that you can turn up on the day knowing that you are as prepared as possible and you can feel safe in the knowledge that we are also super prepared!
All of this means that you get to walk away from your photoshoot with us after having had a load of fun and spending an hour or two with the person you love most and two new friends.
You can look forward to getting your photos back and reliving the experience rather than feeling anxious about what you might have looked like, and did your smile look normal or unhinged. You will walk away with a new appreciation for how amazing you look and with the photos to prove it too, we promise!

About Us
We are Rebecca & Rob.
We’re childhood sweethearts who grew up, got married and decided to embark on a mission to share our love of photography with every other pair of wild spirits we could.
We love travel, the ocean, white wine and pineapple on pizza. Don’t come for us, we love it and it’s not up for debate!
The most exciting thing for us is sharing our images with the amazing people we meet and helping them see how incredible they really are. We know that photos are so important, we’re only these people once in our lives and we think that the people we’re going to become deserve to remember the people who helped them get there.
